Diseño de una Arquitectura para soportar IoT en SmartCampus: Caso de estudio Sede Principal Universidad Politécnico Grancolombiano

Resumen


Los avances en la tecnología de las telecomunicaciones, la electrónica de consumo y el desarrollo de nuevos sensores, modifican el futuro inmediato y crean nuevos paradigmas sobre la interactividad humana con las cosas; la integración entre estas tecnologías y su aplicación en entornos urbanos, impulsan la generación de entornos inteligentes, que apoyan la automatización de procesos, el mando remoto y la toma de decisiones a través de los datos en su respectivo entorno. De allí nacen conceptos como Comunidad Inteligente, Ciudades Inteligentes, Educación Inteligente, Servicios Inteligentes, Medicina Inteligente, en general, ambientes inteligentes.

En este documento se introduce al lector en la propuesta (anteproyecto) de diseño de una arquitectura para soportar IoT en un campus universitario, basado en el concepto de "Internet de las cosas para Ciudades Inteligentes”, aplicando como caso de estudio la sede principal de la Universidad Politécnico Grancolombiano en Bogotá Colombia.

Se presentan los elementos típicos de un ambiente IoT, las características más relevantes que se deben contemplar al aplicar una arquitectura para IoT en un campus Universitario, y algunos trabajos relacionados.
